Today is World Vegan Day, an event set to kick off World Vegan Month. This is a holiday created by the Vegan Society, and this year’s theme is “improving the quality and availability of vegan food.” They have released an e-book titled “Vegan Catering for All” that you can download at the World Vegan Day ’08 website.

Vegan Soapbox has a list of events going on in celebration of World Vegan Day, and Lush, a company that sells vegetarian and vegan cosmetics and body products, has convinced all of their employees to go vegan for a day.
